Description

  • Analyze personal credit reports, business bank statements, background checks, and other relevant business documents.
  • Gather data and conduct research to support underwriting decisions.
  • Participate in the underwriting process by reviewing credit reports, bank statements, and other business documentation.
  • Research and analyze counterparties and provide background information.
  • Communicate with sales organizations, sales managers, and merchants in both written and verbal form.
  • Assist in negotiating transaction terms and credit structure.
  • Review deals across a variety of industries, including retail, leisure, restaurants, hospitality, healthcare, manufacturing, media, technology, and construction.
  • Adapt responsibilities as needed to support changing business needs.

Requirements

  • Diploma required; college degree preferred.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong sense of accountability.
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to evaluate industry trends, understand market dynamics, and develop and defend recommendations.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Ability and desire to work in a rapid-paced environment.
  • Experience achieving metric and quality performance.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite.
  • Knowledge of financial principles and processes, including experience with financial statement analysis.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Effective communication skills and adaptability.
  • Experience with administrative tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism.
  • Consideration for qualified remote candidates residing in states where Kapitus or one of its subsidiaries has an established physical presence.
