Description

  • Serve as the escalation point for complex infrastructure issues from L1/L2 support teams.
  • Design, implement, and maintain secure, highly available infrastructure across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments, with primary focus on Microsoft Azure.
  • Lead architecture and deployment of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions aligned to fintech compliance requirements.
  • Administer and harden Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure AD, and Microsoft 365 services.
  • Manage endpoint security and MDM using Microsoft Intune/Endpoint Manager and JAMF while enforcing Zero Trust principles.
  • Implement IAM controls including Conditional Access, MFA, and SSO integrations.
  • Partner with network teams on firewalls, Cisco Meraki switches, access points, segmentation, and security best practices.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform, Ansible, or PowerShell DSC to automate operations.
  • Support VMware vSphere and Citrix Virtual Desktops on Azure.
  • Own backup, disaster recovery, RTO/RPO objectives, testing, documentation, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of progressive systems administration experience, including at least 2 years in a senior or L3 capacity.
  • Experience in fintech, financial services, or another similarly regulated industry strongly preferred.
  • Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Networking, Azure AD, and Azure Security Center.
  • Strong Microsoft 365 administration experience with Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Microsoft 365 Groups architecture.
  • Strong experience with Active Directory and Azure Active Directory, including Group Policy, RBAC, and Conditional Access Policies.
  • Experience with VMware vSphere and Citrix Virtual Desktops on Azure.
  • Hands-on experience with firewalls, Cisco Meraki, DHCP, DNS, VPN, and network segmentation.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet, and scripting in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
  • Familiarity with PCI-DSS, SOC 2 Type II, and SOX IT General Controls.
  • Experience with cloud-based backup solutions, disaster recovery planning, Zero Trust security, SIEM, EDR, and vulnerability management platforms.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, ITIL best practices, and Salesforce administration fundamentals is a plus.
  • Ability to write scripts and use APIs to automate workflows and integrate systems.
  • Relevant certifications preferred, such as Azure Administrator Associate, MS-102, CompTIA Security+, or CISSP.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with an ownership-driven mindset.
