Description

  • Refine existing product functionality to deliver an exceptional user experience.
  • Ensure consistency across the product and maintain a cohesive look and feel.
  • Implement performance improvements that directly impact end users.
  • Focus on layout, interactions, responsiveness, and visual polish.
  • Collaborate with full-stack, data, ML, and DevOps engineers on scalable backend solutions.
  • Take ownership of projects and drive work to completion with minimal oversight.
  • Communicate proactively with stakeholders and surface blockers early.
  • Test ideas, measure results, and iterate quickly on unsolved problems.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, ideally with a track record of improving and polishing product functionality.
  • Strong fundamentals in system design, debugging, and problem-solving.
  • Experience with a modern front-end framework, preferably React.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python, with openness to strong candidates from other object-oriented backgrounds.
  • Experience with serverless technologies such as Lambda and EC2, asynchronous workflows, and cloud environments.
  • Comfort working with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with LLMs or generative AI is a bonus.
  • Experience with distributed systems is a bonus.
