Description

  • Own backend services, data and ML pipelines, and production infrastructure end to end.
  • Build systems that ingest, process, and reason over structured and unstructured data.
  • Design and develop data-driven microservices using RESTful APIs.
  • Shape how production systems are designed, built, tested, and operated at scale.
  • Collaborate with full-stack, backend, ML, and platform engineers.
  • Debug, improve, and operate systems supporting real insurance workflows.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping production systems.
  • Strong Python skills and solid fundamentals in at least one additional programming language.
  • Experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with AWS and asynchronous or serverless workflows, including EC2 and Lambda.
  • Ability to design and build data-driven microservices with RESTful APIs.
  • Degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong software design, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Curiosity about AI, data, and real-world machine learning applications.
  • Ability to take ownership, work through ambiguity, learn quickly, and maintain high standards.
