Description

  • Lead and manage the project accounting team, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to maintain high performance.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of project financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
  • Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of project costs, revenues, and profitability.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other departments to support financial planning and budget adherence.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and best practices to improve efficiency and compliance.
  • Coordinate month-end and year-end closing activities for the project accounting team.
  • Manage audit preparations and liaise with internal and external auditors.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve reporting capabilities.
  • Provide regular updates and insights to senior management on project financial performance and risks.
  • Promote a collaborative, proactive team culture focused on accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting qualification such as CPA or ACCA is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project accounting, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of project accounting principles and property management industry practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a high-performing team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Experience with financial audits and regulatory compliance is an advantage.
