Description

  • Own and maintain master schedules for new satellite programs from inception through launch and on-orbit operations.
  • Develop and communicate data-driven critical path schedules and progress updates to internal teams and customers.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and production teams to keep milestones aligned to ground truth.
  • Assess new and ongoing projects to identify dependencies across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Gain operational insight into engineering, manufacturing, and launch workflows to improve schedule accuracy and processes.
  • Lead fast-paced reviews to keep plans current, actionable, and aligned with program needs.
  • Build schedule tools and reports that support timely decision-making.
  • Proactively monitor engineering data sources to improve schedule accuracy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, finance, operations management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in project planning and integrated master scheduling.
  • Experience integrating schedules within a single tool and from third-party sources and other data sources.
  • Experience with Smartsheet, MS Project, Primavera, or similar scheduling applications/processes.
  • Active Top Secret or Top Secret SCI clearance preferred, or willingness to pursue and maintain a clearance.
  • Ability to work irregular business hours to support proposals or critical project timelines.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional engineering and operations teams, with familiarity in the engineering development life cycle (preferred).
  • Experience with first-of-a-kind engineering projects and scaled production efforts (preferred).
  • Understanding of critical path analysis, schedule risk analysis, health metrics, and work breakdown structures (preferred).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with extreme attention to detail (preferred).
