Description

Perform Level I installer duties and follow documentation to deliver high-quality installation and service work.
Manage project and service tickets, provide prompt updates, and keep assignments organized and on track.
Take ownership of assigned work by understanding project scopes and service expectations and delivering results within scope.
Lead installation teams by delegating tasks appropriately and fostering a productive, collaborative environment.
Mentor Level I installers and seek feedback to support continuous improvement when acting as team lead.
Communicate regularly with Project Delivery Coordinators, Project Managers, and customers to support smooth project execution.
Work with nurse call systems, card access systems, and video surveillance products on installation projects.
Perform Factory Authorized Testing (FAT) before installation to verify product quality and performance.
Configure, program, and commission systems to deliver fully operational solutions.
Provide basic customer training on system operation and accept additional duties as needed.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in a previous construction trade.
Advanced knowledge of electricity, including high-voltage and/or low-voltage systems.
Hands-on field experience from prior work experience.
Basic telecommunication knowledge, including TCP/IP, networking, computers, and VoIP.
Ability to identify and use common low-voltage cabling.
Working knowledge of basic IT networking, configurations, and IP addressing.
Ability to read architectural drawings.
Team management or supervisor experience.
Experience completing projects within scope and using service ticketing processes.
Knowledge of fire, CCTV, intrusion, or emergency nurse call systems is preferred.
Excellent communication skills.
Valid U.S. driver’s license is required.
