Description

  • Execute Level I installer duties and follow documentation to maintain installation and service standards.
  • Manage project and service tickets, providing timely updates and keeping work organized.
  • Own assigned tasks by understanding project scope and service expectations and delivering results.
  • Lead installation teams by delegating tasks within team capabilities and fostering collaboration.
  • Mentor Level 1 installers and seek feedback to support team improvement.
  • Communicate regularly with Project Delivery Coordinators, Project Managers, and customers to keep projects aligned.
  • Configure, program, and commission systems and devices to provide fully operational solutions.
  • Perform Factory Authorized Testing (FAT) before installation to verify quality and performance standards.
  • Work with nurse call systems, card access systems, and video surveillance products.
  • Accept additional job duties as needed to support business operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a previous construction trade.
  • Advanced knowledge of electricity, including high and/or low voltage.
  • Hands-on field experience from previous work.
  • Basic telecommunication knowledge, including TCP/IP, general networking, computers, and VoIP.
  • Ability to identify and use common low-voltage cabling.
  • Working knowledge of basic IT networking, configurations, and IP addressing.
  • Ability to read architectural drawings.
  • Team management or supervisor experience.
  • Experience completing projects within scope and using service ticketing processes.
  • Knowledge of fire, CCTV, intrusion, or emergency nurse call systems is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license required.
