Description

  • Execute Level I installer responsibilities while following company documentation and installation standards.
  • Manage project and service tickets with strong organization, timely updates, and clear task ownership.
  • Lead installation teams by delegating work, mentoring Level 1 installers, and supporting team development.
  • Coordinate regularly with Project Delivery Coordinators, Project Managers, and customers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Configure, program, and commission systems and devices to deliver fully operational solutions.
  • Perform Factory Authorized Testing (FAT) on products before installation to verify quality and performance standards.
  • Work on nurse call systems, card access systems, and video surveillance products as part of project delivery.
  • Provide basic operational training to customers after system installation and commissioning.
  • Accept additional duties as needed to support business operations and team needs.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a previous construction trade.
  • Advanced knowledge of electricity, including high and/or low voltage.
  • Hands-on field experience from previous work experience.
  • Basic telecommunications knowledge, including TCP/IP, general networking, computers, and VoIP.
  • Ability to identify and use common low-voltage cabling.
  • Working knowledge of basic IT networking, configurations, and IP addressing.
  • Ability to read architectural drawings.
  • Team management or supervisor experience.
  • Previous experience completing projects within scope and using service ticketing processes.
  • Previous knowledge of fire, CCTV, intrusion, and emergency nurse call systems is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license.
  • Experience with leadership and communication development is preferred.
  • Advanced skills, training, and certifications relevant to installation work are expected for Level II responsibility.
