Description

  • Execute Level 1 installer duties and follow installation documentation to maintain service standards.
  • Manage project and service tickets with organized, timely updates and prompt follow-through.
  • Own assigned tasks by understanding project scopes and service expectations and delivering completed work on schedule.
  • Lead installation teams by delegating work appropriately and supporting team productivity.
  • Mentor Level 1 installers and encourage feedback for continuous improvement when serving as team lead.
  • Communicate regularly with Project Delivery Coordinators, Project Managers, and customers to support project execution.
  • Work with nurse call, card access, and video surveillance systems on diverse project installations.
  • Perform Factory Authorized Testing (FAT) before installation to verify product quality and performance.
  • Configure and commission systems so customers receive fully operational solutions.
  • Provide basic operational training to customers after system installation and commissioning.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a previous construction trade.
  • Advanced knowledge of electricity, including high and/or low voltage.
  • Hands-on field experience from previous work experience.
  • Basic telecommunication knowledge, including TCP/IP, general networking, computers, and VoIP.
  • Ability to identify and use common low-voltage cabling.
  • Working knowledge of basic IT networking, configurations, and IP addressing.
  • Ability to read architectural drawings.
  • Team management or supervisor experience.
  • Previous experience completing projects within scope and using service ticketing processes.
  • Knowledge of fire, CCTV, intrusion, and emergency nurse call systems is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license required.
