Description

  • Lead and scale the Accounting, Revenue Accounting, Payroll, Billing, and Collections teams across multiple regions.
  • Own the accounting roadmap and help drive IPO readiness and public-company preparation.
  • Champion the enterprise risk framework, including insurance renewals, statutory compliance, and banking relationships.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, banking partners, and tax authorities, including required confirmations and operational processes.
  • Prepare Audit Committee materials and present technical accounting positions, risk exposure, and internal control certifications.
  • Drive SOX compliance, internal controls, audit preparedness, and process documentation.
  • Lead annual audits and quarterly reviews and prepare for future SEC reporting requirements.
  • Establish and maintain accounting policies under US GAAP, with emphasis on SaaS revenue recognition.
  • Oversee revenue accounting, including ASC 606, contract review, and complex revenue arrangements.
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, billing, collections, cash application, bank administration, and investment policy execution.
  • Partner with Sales, Deal Desk, Legal, RevOps, FP&A, and other stakeholders on contract structuring, revenue accuracy, forecasts, and M&A activity.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in high-growth SaaS or technology companies.
  • Prior experience at a public company or leading accounting through IPO preparation and execution is strongly preferred.
  • Deep expertise in revenue accounting for SaaS businesses.
  • Experience leading accounting for companies with multiple currencies, international legal entities, and active M&A.
  • Experience leading SOX implementation and operating in a public-company-ready control environment.
  • Proven people leader with experience building and scaling high-performing teams.
  • Strong technical accounting foundation with the ability to balance detail with strategic thinking.
  • Comfort operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and driving change.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication and executive presence.
  • Must be located within one of the 50 U.S. states and be able to work remotely in the U.S.
  • Must speak and write English fluently.

  • Annual compensation of $225,000 to $275,000, including base salary and any related bonuses or commissions.
