Description

  • Lead technically complex, cross-functional engineering projects.
  • Research ambiguous problem spaces and collaborate with UX and Product Managers to define requirements.
  • Decompose complex problems into simple, scalable solutions.
  • Drive highly available, reliable, and performant system design through technical influence.
  • Partner with Principal Engineers and Architects to establish shared technical strategy.
  • Collaborate across engineering and product teams on initiatives benefiting multiple teams.
  • Mentor engineers and support their career development on advanced technical topics.
  • Make technology decisions by balancing technical leadership with business judgment.
  • Participate in assigned engineering on-call shifts.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of software engineering experience, including leadership of complex engineering projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Go and familiarity with Java, TypeScript, or other programming languages.
  • Experience with cloud technologies, microservices, and SaaS architectures.
  • Deep expertise in device management and policy enforcement across macOS, Windows, Linux, iOS, and Android.
  • Knowledge of MDM architectures, including policy management, enrollment, and Apple Push Notification service.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure; Kubernetes; and CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with distributed systems, databases, and architectures spanning services, front ends, and databases.
  • Strong software engineering design principles and technical leadership skills.
  • Experience leading complex projects across multiple teams from conception through completion.
  • Ability to work effectively with ambiguity, geographically distributed teams, and remote-first environments.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Must be located in and authorized to work in India.
