Description

  • Lead and manage the India-based ISPM engineering team, including guiding day-to-day execution and team priorities.
  • Build product features and help drive the architecture of the ISPM platform.
  • Define engineering best practices and raise product quality across the team.
  • Partner with Staff and Principal engineers, peers, and other teams on product strategy and execution.
  • Provide technical leadership and oversight for team activities in your areas of expertise.
  • Hire, onboard, mentor, and retain a growing and diverse team of engineers.
  • Support performance management and help build a high-performing team.
  • Collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across the organization.
  • Contribute to a remote-first, geographically distributed engineering organization.
  • Help drive continuous improvement through innovation, delivery, process, and quality improvements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience leading software engineering teams building on public clouds such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • 12+ years of overall industry experience.
  • Experience managing teams of 8 or more members, including performance management.
  • Track record of leading team or organizational initiatives to successful, on-time completion.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles and techniques.
  • Track record of SaaS ownership and strong commitment to reliability principles.
  • Hands-on experience working with agile teams.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with engineering managers and technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams including Software and Quality Engineers.
  • Strong track record of finding, hiring, growing, and retaining high-performing engineers.
  • Experience leading geographically diverse teams in a remote-first work environment.
  • Exposure to AI coding agents such as Cursor, Claude, or Copilot, and AI tools such as Gemini or NotebookLM.
  • Exposure to cybersecurity concepts and building related solutions.
