Description

  • Lead the architecture and low-level design of new Go microservices for the ITDR platform.
  • Break down complex technical requirements and mentor other engineers.
  • Collaborate with senior technical leaders to manage technical debt and refine feature design.
  • Architect services that ingest high-volume risk signals from Kafka and determine system responses in milliseconds.
  • Build modular decision-engine components that can be reused internally.
  • Design APIs and data structures that provide rich incident context for IT admins and SOC analysts.
  • Develop infrastructure that supports future machine learning and model-serving use cases.
  • Own services in production, including defining SLIs/SLOs and ensuring high availability.
  • Manage database performance and upgrades for Postgres and Redis.
  • Partner with Platform Engineering and Product Managers on data contracts and roadmap planning.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of backend software development experience.
  • Expert proficiency in Go (Golang), including concurrency patterns and memory management.
  • Proven experience with event-driven systems using Kafka, Kinesis, or SQS.
  • Experience with stream processing technologies such as Apache Flink or Spark Streaming.
  • Experience modeling data in relational and NoSQL stores, including Postgres, Redis, or DynamoDB.
  • Deep experience with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, and EKS.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
  • Working interest in machine learning infrastructure, MLOps, or model serving.
  • Bonus: experience building tools for SOC or SIEM workflows.
  • Bonus: exposure to authentication standards such as OAuth, OIDC, or SAML, or fraud/risk engine logic.
  • Bonus: experience integrating third-party threat feeds such as GeoIP or IP reputation sources.
  • Must be located in and authorized to work in India and able to work remotely.
  • Must be fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call shifts is expected.
