Description

  • Own the SEO strategy for client accounts and drive measurable search performance.
  • Develop insights and recommendations that improve client outcomes.
  • Collaborate with account managers and content specialists within a pod structure.
  • Bring strategic thinking and proactive problem-solving to client work.
  • Dig into the reasoning behind decisions and communicate the "why" clearly.
  • Potentially join client calls and present work when needed.
  • Take accountability for outcomes and continuously improve SEO strategy execution.

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of real SEO specialist experience, with quality valued over tenure.
  • Demonstrated progression in prior roles, with roughly 2-2.5 years per role rather than job-hopping.
  • Strong written communication skills and the ability to explain decisions in depth.
  • Clear spoken English; accent is not a concern.
  • Ownership mindset and strategic thinking, with the ability to work independently without constant direction.
  • Accountable, hardworking, driven, and willing to learn and upskill.
  • Willingness and ability to be client-facing, including joining calls and presenting work, is a plus.
  • Experience working directly with enterprise or high-growth consumer brands is a plus.
  • Ability to work with core overlap in US Eastern time, with more overlap preferred.
  • Must be comfortable working remotely as an independent contractor and as a full-time primary role.
