Description

Design and build core systems for a new product from scratch.
Develop low-latency, high-reliability services that interact with Solana’s transaction and block-building pipeline.
Own critical infrastructure including order routing, execution, real-time market data, and position management.
Implement security across the stack, including transaction signing and user data protection.
Collaborate closely with product and infrastructure teams to ship quickly and iterate from user feedback.
Make significant architectural decisions as an early member of a small team.

Requirements

5+ years of software engineering experience, with meaningful experience in distributed systems.
Strong systems programming skills; Rust is preferred, but C/C++, Go, or similar experience is acceptable.
Proven experience building reliable, low-latency systems in production.
Security-first mindset, including awareness of attack surfaces, key management, and failure modes.
Familiarity with Solana’s runtime, transaction lifecycle, and market microstructure such as MEV, block building, and execution quality is a strong plus.
Comfort operating with high autonomy and incomplete information in a 0-to-1 product environment.
Experience in trading systems or exchange infrastructure is a strong fit.
Experience in DeFi protocol engineering is a strong fit.
Experience in fintech backend systems, such as payments, custody, or execution, is a strong fit.
Experience in high-frequency or low-latency systems, or security engineering, is a strong fit.

$200,000 - $250,000 annual salary based on experience.
