Description

  • Design and build core systems for a new product from scratch.
  • Develop low-latency, high-reliability services that interact with Solana’s transaction and block-building pipeline.
  • Own critical infrastructure including order routing, execution, real-time market data, and position management.
  • Implement security across the stack, including transaction signing and user data protection.
  • Collaborate closely with product and infrastructure teams to ship quickly and iterate from user feedback.
  • Make significant architectural decisions as an early member of a small team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, with meaningful experience in distributed systems.
  • Strong systems programming skills; Rust is preferred, but C/C++, Go, or similar experience is acceptable.
  • Proven experience building reliable, low-latency systems in production.
  • Security-first mindset, including awareness of attack surfaces, key management, and failure modes.
  • Familiarity with Solana’s runtime, transaction lifecycle, and market microstructure such as MEV, block building, and execution quality is a strong plus.
  • Comfort operating with high autonomy and incomplete information in a 0-to-1 product environment.
  • Experience in trading systems or exchange infrastructure is a strong fit.
  • Experience in DeFi protocol engineering is a strong fit.
  • Experience in fintech backend systems, such as payments, custody, or execution, is a strong fit.
  • Experience in high-frequency or low-latency systems, or security engineering, is a strong fit.
