Description

  • Work with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Train large language models from scratch on a large GPU cluster.
  • Collect, process, and prepare pre-training and fine-tuning datasets.
  • Deploy models into production environments for global end-user access.
  • Support and improve existing subsystems.
  • Plan projects and make decisions independently when needed.
  • Take ownership of an entire subsystem.
  • Collaborate with others to identify customer needs and prioritize work accordingly.

Requirements

  • Experience in the design, deployment, and support of production ML systems.
  • Strong theoretical background in NLP and transformer-based approaches.
  • Proficiency with modern deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and common NLP libraries.
  • Experience with distributed training of multi-billion-parameter models.
  • Attention to detail and strong communication skills.
  • Experience with LLM inference frameworks such as vLLM, DeepSpeed, or TensorRT (preferred).
  • Experience with LLM alignment techniques such as RLHF or RLAIF (preferred).
  • Experience with MLOps tools and practices, including CI/CD for ML (preferred).
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Kubeflow (preferred).
  • Scientific publications in the NLP field (preferred).
  • Passion for learning and staying current with the latest developments in the LLM field.
