Description

  • Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and technical experts as an embedded analyst in the product team.
  • Perform ad hoc data analysis to support product decisions and validate assumptions behind new feature development.
  • Establish and promote best practices for data usage, including event logging design, consistency, and data quality.
  • Maintain and develop the product metrics framework to evaluate product performance.
  • Build and maintain dashboards with product metrics using BI tools such as Metabase or Tableau.
  • Analyze the outcomes of product releases and investigate changes in product behavior after launch.
  • Conduct research analytics to explain metric movements and test hypotheses around product changes.
  • Design and implement ETL pipelines and data models to support end-to-end analytics coverage.
  • Help shape a data-informed culture and define how the team works with data.

Requirements

  • Expertise in statistics and data analysis.
  • Extensive experience with SQL and Python.
  • At least 2 years of experience with Tableau, Power BI, or other BI tools.
  • Strong data visualization and interpretation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Ability to distill complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of sampling techniques and sampling errors.
  • Data engineering skills, including experience designing ETLs and data pipelines.
  • Experience working with developer tools, DevOps products, or CI/CD workflows (preferred).
  • Background in A/B testing or experiment design (preferred).
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate data analysis and analytics workflows (preferred).
