Description

  • Define, communicate, and champion the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Translate strategy into epics, features, and user stories that operationalize the product vision.
  • Maintain transparency around roadmap decisions and clearly explain prioritization rationale.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership to UX, Engineering, QA, Documentation, and Database teams throughout development.
  • Own and ensure the integrity of the product backlog, including backlog refinement and grooming.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with users, clients, and other key constituents.
  • Gather and incorporate feedback through advisory groups, client conversations, user conferences, office hours, and site visits.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Support, and Services to support go-to-market planning, rollout execution, and adoption.
  • Collect and analyze market and competitive data to inform product direction and maintain competitiveness.
  • Research third-party partnership or licensing opportunities and opportunities for ethical AI and automation.
  • Support resolution of complex issues escalated from Support or Services.
  • Mentor junior product managers and contribute to the evolution of product management practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Higher Education Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in a Product Manager role within a relevant industry.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
  • Creative, analytical, and strategic thinking with demonstrated innovation in problem solving.
  • Familiarity with SDLC methodologies including Agile Scrum, shift-left practices, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
  • Experience with Aha! or a similar product management tool.
  • Pragmatic Institute certification is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft technologies such as Azure, Power Platform, and M365.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across diverse audiences.
  • Ability to engage in professional communities, continuing education, and market research to maintain industry expertise.
  • Authorization to work without visa sponsorship, as Jenzabar does not sponsor applicants for work visas.
