Description

  • Develop and enhance probabilistic risk assessment models for internal events, fire, seismic, and other external hazards.
  • Conduct PRA analyses, calculations, and risk-informed engineering evaluations.
  • Support licensing and regulatory strategies for plant operations, including RICT, 50.69, and ILRT extensions.
  • Apply online risk tools and explore advanced optimization-based methods.
  • Conduct human reliability analyses and evaluate severe accident scenarios.
  • Support regulatory and risk initiatives for advanced nuclear programs such as NEI 18-04, LMP, ESP, and siting.
  • Provide consulting support and prepare regulatory submittals for clients and industry stakeholders.
  • Communicate technical findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Mentor and support early-career engineers through knowledge-sharing and guidance.
  • Build client relationships and identify opportunities that support business growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent PRA-related experience.
  • Experience with nuclear plant or advanced nuclear PRA, operations, licensing, or engineering.
  • Strong analytical skills and a commitment to nuclear safety.
  • Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills.
  • 5+ years of PRA experience preferred, or 10+ years for senior-level consideration.
  • Hands-on experience in PRA domains such as internal events, fire PRA, external hazards, or risk-informed applications preferred.
  • Familiarity with NRC risk-informed processes preferred.
  • Prior consulting or client-facing experience preferred.
  • Project management or technical leadership experience preferred.
  • Remote work is available for qualified candidates.
