Description

  • Work closely with manufacturing, finance, and supply chain consultants to ensure implementations meet customer expectations.
  • Provide cross-functional guidance on Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O/ERP configuration and solution design.
  • Lead detailed design and requirements sessions, perform gap analysis, and document functional requirements and solution designs.
  • Ensure the quality of design, configuration, and testing across core Dynamics 365 ERP modules.
  • Translate business decisions into successful project execution across implementation phases.
  • Communicate with client leadership as a trusted advisor and support senior-level decision-making.
  • Escalate risks and challenges, discuss solution tradeoffs, and support change management and adoption.
  • Specify requirements for custom code, integrations, and custom reports for the development team.
  • Support cutover planning, ALM planning, go-live readiness, and post-go-live transition.
  • Assist with data migration, reconciliation, clean-up, user documentation, training, and issue resolution.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of Dynamics 365 F&O/Dynamics AX experience as an implementation functional lead.
  • Minimum 4 full-lifecycle Dynamics 365 F&O/Dynamics AX Distribution WMS implementations from analysis through deployment.
  • Minimum 5 years of industry and/or consulting experience.
  • Certification in Dynamics 365 F&O/Dynamics AX Supply Chain, Production, or Finance, or ability to obtain it within 90 days of employment.
  • Strong industry experience in manufacturing and/or distribution.
  • Working knowledge of industry-specific best practices.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and organization skills.
  • Strong customer relationship skills and ability to establish priorities and work independently.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% and hold a valid driver’s license.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; fluent English.
  • Preferred: certification in at least one additional Dynamics 365 F&O/Dynamics AX module within 90 days.
  • Preferred: AX 2012 experience.
  • Preferred: bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Preferred: Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP Master Certification or Microsoft Sure Step Certification.
  • Preferred: experience with other Dynamics 365 ERP/Dynamics AX modules and common ISVs such as Dynaway Blue, ATOS, Seeburger, SKGlobal, CCH, credit card processors, or ExpertLogic.
  • Preferred: APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
