Description

  • Own the strategy and execution of in-product engagement across the customer platform.
  • Design and manage onboarding flows, guided tours, checklists, announcements, and contextual education.
  • Build scalable ways for users to discover, understand, and adopt key product features.
  • Partner with Product Marketing on launch messaging and in-product education.
  • Identify friction points across onboarding, reporting, and overall platform usage.
  • Use customer feedback and product data to improve activation, engagement, and retention.
  • Define success metrics and measure the impact of in-product initiatives after launch.
  • Lead initiatives from discovery through launch and iteration.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, Product Marketing, and Customer Success.
  • Clarify scope, tradeoffs, dependencies, and risks early in the product process.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Product Management experience in SaaS, AdTech, MarTech, or related technology environments.
  • Experience improving onboarding, feature adoption, engagement, or retention within a software product.
  • Experience using product telemetry, customer behavior data, and user feedback to identify opportunities and measure impact.
  • Hands-on experience with in-product engagement platforms such as Pendo, Intercom, Appcues, Product Fruits, WalkMe, Chameleon, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of how to design, launch, and optimize onboarding flows, product tours, tooltips, checklists, announcements, and feature adoption programs.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to align Product, Engineering, Design, Product Marketing, and Customer Success.
  • Proven ability to independently own initiatives from concept through launch.
  • Experience in advertising technology, media, marketing technology, or performance marketing is preferred.
  • Experience with product analytics and telemetry platforms such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, Heap, PostHog, or similar tools is preferred.
  • Experience partnering closely with Product Marketing on feature launches, customer education, and adoption strategies is preferred.
  • Startup or high-growth company experience is preferred.
