Description

  • Maintain and implement complex databases as part of a team under the guidance of a lead.
  • Assist with planning and engineering organizational databases.
  • Monitor database performance, scalability, and security.
  • Evaluate existing database designs and determine update and integration requirements for new designs.
  • Design and develop SQL queries and reports to retrieve required data under supervision.
  • Work in a team-oriented, collaborative, agile environment.
  • Manage multi-discipline triage calls as needed.
  • Support installation, maintenance, and administration of relational database systems.
  • Work with cloud-native database solutions such as AWS RDS and DynamoDB.
  • Contribute to data management tasks within assigned functional areas.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
  • Basic proficiency with computers, software applications, and common business systems.
  • Ability to follow written instructions, scripts, and established procedures accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
  • Clear communication and interpersonal skills for customer-facing interactions.
  • Ability to work under supervision and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Experience with the Software Development Lifecycle in a team-oriented, collaborative, agile environment.
  • Experience with tools such as ServiceNow, GitHub, and Jira.
  • Experience with installation, maintenance, and administration of an RDBMS such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server; Oracle preferred.
  • Familiarity with database partitioning, microservices, and cloud-native database solutions.
  • Prior experience in any listed functional area is desirable.
  • Selected applicants must pass a security investigation and meet eligibility requirements for access to classified or sensitive information.
