Description

  • Own complex features from problem definition through delivery, including scope shaping, tradeoff decisions, and navigating ambiguity.
  • Design and build rich, performant user experiences for identity, security, content sharing, resource management, and data access workflows.
  • Build coherent multi-step user flows across technical systems that feel intuitive to end users.
  • Develop and maintain frontend and backend services across desktop applications, web frontends, APIs, and backend services.
  • Apply security-minded engineering practices to authentication, authorization, and data classification workflows.
  • Champion frontend performance as a core engineering priority, including bundle size, render efficiency, responsiveness, and perceived speed.
  • Use modern development workflows, including AI-assisted tooling, to improve iteration speed and code quality.
  • Contribute to the data studio experience by surfacing platform data in intuitive ways.
  • Partner with platform, integrations, and infra teams to translate identity and security primitives into usable interfaces.
  • Participate in design reviews and technical direction discussions with a strong product and UX perspective.
  • Write high-quality, well-tested code with attention to reliability, accessibility, and performance.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with significant depth in frontend and full-stack product engineering.
  • Strong proficiency with modern frontend frameworks, especially React and TypeScript.
  • Deep understanding of frontend performance optimization, including rendering, state management, bundle efficiency, and perceived performance.
  • Ability to work effectively across the full stack, from UI development to backend services.
  • Experience with Go and/or Python for backend services, with willingness to work in both.
  • Fluency with modern developer tooling and AI-assisted workflows.
  • Proven ability to break large, ambiguous problems into shippable increments.
  • Experience building UIs for security-sensitive domains such as identity, access control, permissions, or data classification is a strong plus.
  • Experience with desktop application development such as Electron is a plus.
  • Strong product instinct and ability to think in terms of user mental models.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally with design, product, platform, and infrastructure teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Must be a US citizen or permanent resident living within the United States.
