Description

  • Answer inbound calls and respond to patient enquiries in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Verify patient insurance information, personal information, and co-payments.
  • Schedule and reschedule appointments using the scheduling system.
  • Provide patients with information about services.
  • Input and update patient information in the scheduling system with precision and attention to detail.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient appointments, medical needs, and preferences.

Requirements

  • Exceptional English communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Fast learner with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Critical thinking ability when interpreting insurance details and making informed decisions.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Ability to show empathy and patience when addressing customer concerns.
  • Familiarity with U.S. healthcare insurance such as Medicare and Medicaid is an added advantage.
  • Must be able to work 5-day rotating shifts on U.S. Eastern Time, including night shifts, Monday to Sunday.
  • Must be available to work on both South African and U.S. public holidays.
  • Must have a fixed fibre internet connection with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps upload and download and wired Ethernet capability.
  • Must have a reliable backup power solution for load shedding and outages.
