Description

  • Identify technical problems, develop solutions, and support their implementation in the field.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional personnel to provide support, resolve problems, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Prioritize and resolve regional issues while meeting timelines and developing cost-effective solutions that minimize project impact.
  • Recommend and support process improvements based on regional or group performance metrics.
  • Develop, analyze, and report metrics related to regional project issues.
  • Serve as a liaison between Manufacturing and Sustaining Engineering for BESS hardware, software, batteries, power converters, controls, IoT, computing, data collection, and network systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience with BESS design, computer, electrical, and systems engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Staff Engineer or Systems Engineer.
  • 3+ years of field or field-support experience.
  • Experience driving complex, emergent issues through resolution.
  • Experience with quality programs such as ISO 9000.
  • Experience commissioning and coordinating installation of engineering systems, such as battery energy storage systems.
  • Knowledge of engineering codes and standards, including NFPA.
  • Knowledge of product lifecycle, product innovation, and Agile, Waterfall, or other project management methodologies.
  • Strong communication, presentation, collaboration, ownership, initiative, time-management, and Microsoft Office skills.
