Description

  • Design, build, and maintain automation tools and services that support core SOC operations.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of SOC automation work from requirements through deployment.
  • Streamline security workflows and improve operational efficiency using modern infrastructure and application technologies.
  • Collaborate closely with security analysts and engineers to solve automation and operational challenges.
  • Research emerging security automation standards and identify new technologies that strengthen defenses and processes.
  • Contribute to system reliability, observability, and scalability through thoughtful automation and process design.
  • Support security automation efforts across bot detection, fraud mitigation, phishing detection, and related areas.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in backend software development.
  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Familiarity with microservice-based architectures.
  • Deep understanding of programming best practices, design patterns, and testing methodologies.
  • Experience writing secure code and applying OWASP security principles.
  • Solid experience working with SQL databases.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical teams.
  • Familiarity with Docker and containerized development workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes or other orchestration platforms is preferred.
  • Familiarity with frontend technologies or frameworks is preferred.
  • Experience participating in bug bounty programs or contributing to security research, including public CVEs, is preferred.
  • Understanding of browser and network security, modern web architecture, and web automation frameworks is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Linux environments is preferred.
  • Pre-employment screening is required, including third-party verification of work history, education, and identity, plus a final in-person interview and identity verification in the candidate's country of residence.
