Description

Lead large-scale machine learning projects and products from inception through production.
Oversee the full lifecycle of ML systems, including design, implementation, deployment, and maintenance.
Make architectural decisions that balance scalability, efficiency, maintainability, and business constraints.
Collaborate across ML and engineering teams to drive product success and technical decisions.
Design and implement machine learning pipelines and models that serve millions of users.
Set technical standards for scalable, testable, and high-performance applications.
Provide leadership and mentorship to other machine learning engineers.
Contribute to technical strategy and guide the direction of ML systems at scale.

Requirements

7+ years of experience building and maintaining large-scale production ML systems.
Proven experience owning or significantly contributing to products used by tens of thousands of customers.
Expertise in machine learning algorithms, productionizing ML models, and scaling systems to large data volumes.
Strong problem-solving skills with creative approaches to technical challenges.
Experience leading technical discussions, driving decisions, and setting technical standards.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with Kubernetes, containerization, microservice design, and distributed systems.
Ability to identify, define, and segment complex research problems and develop innovative solutions.
Experience with performance, scalability, and reliability-focused ML engineering work.
