Description

  • Design, implement, and maintain PHP-based backend services for a unified vulnerability and exposure management platform.
  • Integrate and consolidate data from third-party security tools and APIs to enable risk-based vulnerability management across the platform.
  • Build scalable data processing and storage solutions to handle vulnerability, threat, and asset data while ensuring performance and reliability.
  • Deploy, maintain, and operate applications on Linux-based cloud environments and participate in related operational activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and production issues, including participating in on-call rotations to support customer-facing challenges.
  • Automate workflows and contribute to platform automation that streamlines vulnerability remediation processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment, coordinating work across distributed teams and time zones.
  • Support frontend or full-stack tasks as needed and work alongside data analytics/data science teams to surface actionable security insights.

Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge of modern versions of PHP.
  • Experience working with relational databases (experience with SingleStore/MEMSQL is a bonus).
  • Experience maintaining applications on Linux platforms in cloud environments.
  • Experience integrating with third-party APIs and deep familiarity with REST and the HTTP protocol.
  • Experience being on-call and supporting complex, customer-facing technical challenges.
  • Background working in Agile/Scrum methodologies in a professional setting.
  • Demonstrated experience with technical troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with distributed teams across different time zones.
  • Preferred: Strong knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript) and experience with frontend frameworks and React.
  • Preferred: Experience with Laminas Framework, vulnerability scanning technologies (e.g., SCA, SAST, DAST, IAST, VM scanning, container scanning), AWS/cloud environments, and working with data analytics or data science teams.
