Description

  • Support project development from concept to completion by identifying and mitigating design, budget, and schedule risks.
  • Own and manage site layouts, master planning, and civil site design with internal teams, consultants, and EPC partners.
  • Optimize civil layouts for land use, equipment selection, topography, environmental constraints, and permitting requirements.
  • Develop and review structural design documentation for concrete, steel, prefabricated structures, and foundations.
  • Optimize grading plans through cut-and-fill analysis and earthwork balancing.
  • Coordinate with architectural, MEP, geotechnical, construction, and other cross-functional teams to align project objectives and standards.
  • Manage site diligence activities, including stormwater management, utilities coordination, and geotechnical studies.
  • Provide civil and structural engineering support during engineering, procurement, and construction execution phases.
  • Advance complex power plant projects through early feasibility, diligence, design, and Issued for Construction milestones.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in design, project management, or construction within natural gas power, data center, or heavy industrial projects.
  • Strong understanding of civil and structural design principles, diligence processes, and EPC construction standards.
  • Experience with foundation design for vibrating equipment, structural steel, reinforced concrete, and geotechnical coordination.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and sound engineering judgment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of data center, natural gas power plant, or heavy industrial systems and cost drivers is preferred.
  • Proficiency with tools such as AutoCAD Civil3D, Bluebeam, Revit, ACC, RISA, RAM, SAP2000, SAFE, or STAAD is preferred.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) license is preferred.
  • Experience in grading, stormwater management, and erosion control is preferred.
  • Experience across all phases of project development, from siting through construction, is preferred.

  • Total compensation of $188,500 to $205,400, including base salary and bonus.
