Description

  • Continuously monitor and improve SMS route performance and delivery efficiency.
  • Monitor real-time traffic and respond quickly to network alerts and delivery issues.
  • Investigate and diagnose SMS routing problems, including configuration, log, and routing failures.
  • Maintain the messaging routing scheme to ensure 24/7 availability.
  • Respond to and escalate customer trouble tickets to suppliers as needed.
  • Manage alarms, alerts, and incidents using Alaris monitoring systems.
  • Escalate network issues to senior teams when necessary.
  • Perform root cause analysis to prevent recurring network disruptions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system upgrades and configuration changes.
  • Document operational processes, procedures, and incident reports.
  • Optimize system performance and implement best practices for network reliability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in a NOC or telecom environment.
  • Proficiency with Alaris systems is required.
  • Hands-on experience in SMS A2P.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols, technologies, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in the voice field is a plus.
