Description

  • Perform independent validation of machine learning and statistical models, including reproducing methodologies and critically analyzing results.
  • Conduct robustness, stress, and sensitivity tests on models critical to the bank.
  • Issue technical opinions to approve or reject models before production deployment.
  • Monitor models in production, including drift detection, backtesting, and stability analysis.
  • Develop and improve internal model validation frameworks.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports and support internal and external audit requests.
  • Collaborate with Data Science, Compliance, Business, and Audit teams.
  • Contribute to the technical development and training of the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree completed, preferably in a technology-related field.
  • Solid experience in statistical modeling and/or machine learning.
  • Knowledge of the model lifecycle from development through production monitoring.
  • Strong command of Python and/or R with data analysis and modeling libraries.
  • Experience with SQL and Git.
  • Strong analytical mindset, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of model development best practices.
  • Experience implementing models in production environments is preferred.
  • Experience with independent model validation or Model Risk Management (MRM) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks for Model Risk Management (GRM/MRM) is preferred.
  • Experience with credit, antifraud, or financial risk modeling is preferred.
  • Intermediate English for reading technical and regulatory documentation is preferred.
