Description

  • Analyze and evaluate data to develop and propose credit risk strategies and models for lending products such as Personal Loan, Student Loan Refinance, Private Student Loan, and Credit Card.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Units, Capital Markets, Product, and Engineering to support strategy development and execution.
  • Architect pre-screen and underwriting strategies for lending decisions.
  • Use internal, bureau, third-party, and alternative data sources to build a real-time data ecosystem for lending.
  • Apply quantitative and analytical methods to drive revenue growth while controlling risk.
  • Develop approaches to mitigate loss and responsibly grow revenue.
  • Monitor the performance of strategies and portfolios.
  • Document and communicate results, and escalate issues as needed.
  • Identify gaps and opportunities and drive follow-up actions.
  • Use data-driven decision-making to support innovation in credit strategy.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • 4 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
  • Consumer lending domain expertise.
  • Experience with the credit strategy analytical lifecycle.
  • Experience with analytical models.
  • Proficiency with SQL, Python, and Excel.
  • Experience with decisioning, regression, and A/B testing techniques.
  • Experience with data analysis and machine learning.
  • Knowledge of fintech and risk domains.
  • Experience using data visualization tools and defining experimentation strategies.
  • Any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience is acceptable.
  • Full-time telecommuting is an option.
  • Ability to work in Cottonwood Heights, UT, with remote work not available from Hawaii or Alaska.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $207,000 to $227,700 per year.
