Description

  • Own outbound prospecting across a defined set of high-value, complex, or mid-market accounts in partnership with assigned Account Executives.
  • Research target accounts in depth to personalize outreach based on financial health, competitive landscape, fleet challenges, and organizational structure.
  • Execute multi-touch outreach sequences across phone, email, and social channels to engage C-level and VP-level stakeholders.
  • Consistently generate Sales Qualified Opportunities and pipeline against monthly goals.
  • Gather market feedback from outbound activity to help refine the Ideal Customer Profile and go-to-market strategy.
  • Serve as the primary contact for high-value inbound leads such as demo requests, paid leads, and tradeshow inquiries.
  • Qualify inbound prospects through discovery calls to assess fit, uncover pain points, and convert them into meetings for Account Executives.
  • Nurture inbound leads that are not yet sales-ready through tailored follow-up and content sharing.
  • Ensure only ICP-qualified leads are advanced to the sales team to maintain strong conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to improve lead quality and messaging, and stay current on product, industry, and competitor knowledge.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in an Account Development, Sales Development, or Business Development role.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS or a related technology field, preferably targeting fleet or operations personas.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to handle high-level business conversations.
  • Proven persistence and resilience in the face of rejection while maintaining strong activity levels.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and Salesloft, or similar sequencing and tracking tools.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
  • Ability to work effectively with assigned Account Executives and cross-functional partners.
  • Familiarity with fleet management, operations, or related industry concepts is preferred.
