Description

  • Provide remote IT support and technical assistance to clients.
  • Resolve workstation operating system issues with little or no assistance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve printer issues.
  • Support standard business applications such as Microsoft Office and other common tools.
  • Handle line-of-business application issues, including SAGE ERP and QuickBooks, with vendor assistance when needed.
  • Resolve advanced server issues.
  • Troubleshoot basic and intermediate networking issues.
  • Serve as an escalation point for technicians.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend support.
  • Maintain client service quality through efficient ticket handling and problem resolution.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
  • Experience troubleshooting Windows and Mac OS environments.
  • Experience with Server 2016 through Server 2025.
  • Experience with VMware and Hyper-V virtualization.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Azure.
  • Basic knowledge of firewalls, switches, network architecture, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency supporting MS Office, Adobe, Active Directory, backup software, endpoint cybersecurity, mobile devices, and various business applications.
  • Experience with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) is highly desirable.
  • Active server certifications are preferred.
  • A home office setup with at least 8GB RAM and a compatible computer running Windows 11, macOS 12 or newer, or qualifying Intel i5/i7 or AMD Ryzen 5/7 hardware.
  • Stable internet with at least 5 Mbps upload and download speeds, plus a noise-cancelling headset, smartphone for Microsoft Authenticator, HD webcam, second monitor, and UPS if using a desktop.
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills.
  • Ability to work full time, 40 hours per week, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST Monday through Friday.
  • Ability to pass online behavior and cognitive assessments.
  • Ability to provide NBI Clearance for PH applicants.
  • At least two of the following certifications are preferred: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, or 3CX Basic Certified Engineer.
