Description

Provide remote IT support and technical assistance to clients.
Resolve workstation operating system issues with little or no assistance.
Troubleshoot and resolve printer issues.
Support standard business applications such as Microsoft Office and other common tools.
Handle line-of-business application issues, including SAGE ERP and QuickBooks, with vendor assistance when needed.
Resolve advanced server issues.
Troubleshoot basic and intermediate networking issues.
Serve as an escalation point for technicians.
Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend support.
Maintain client service quality through efficient ticket handling and problem resolution.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
Experience troubleshooting Windows and Mac OS environments.
Experience with Server 2016 through Server 2025.
Experience with VMware and Hyper-V virtualization.
Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Azure.
Basic knowledge of firewalls, switches, network architecture, and troubleshooting.
Proficiency supporting MS Office, Adobe, Active Directory, backup software, endpoint cybersecurity, mobile devices, and various business applications.
Experience with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) is highly desirable.
Active server certifications are preferred.
A home office setup with at least 8GB RAM and a compatible computer running Windows 11, macOS 12 or newer, or qualifying Intel i5/i7 or AMD Ryzen 5/7 hardware.
Stable internet with at least 5 Mbps upload and download speeds, plus a noise-cancelling headset, smartphone for Microsoft Authenticator, HD webcam, second monitor, and UPS if using a desktop.
Excellent spoken and written English skills.
Ability to work full time, 40 hours per week, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST Monday through Friday.
Ability to pass online behavior and cognitive assessments.
Ability to provide NBI Clearance for PH applicants.
At least two of the following certifications are preferred: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, or 3CX Basic Certified Engineer.
