Description

  • Provide nurse triage support directly to patients and their families over the phone.
  • Deliver care during weekday shifts, required weekend rotations, and assigned holidays.
  • Handle high call volumes while maintaining empathy and adherence to client protocols.
  • Document calls and complete charting using remote systems during and after shifts.
  • Prepare for shifts by clocking in early and completing required pre-call setup.
  • Remain available to stay on the line and finish charting until the call queue is transferred.
  • Support client nursing staffs and their patients during nights and weekends.
  • Follow verbal and written instructions and use technology efficiently in a remote call center environment.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as an RN.
  • 2+ years of nursing experience and at least 1 year in a fast-paced environment such as ED, Critical Care, Surgical Services, or Med/Surg.
  • Must have or be willing to obtain a Compact RN license.
  • Must live and work in a Compact U.S. state; states with pending compact legislation do not count.
  • Must physically reside in the U.S. and be legally eligible to work for any employer.
  • Must be available to work 2 of every 3 weekends, including both Saturday and Sunday on assigned weekends.
  • Must complete the 3-week remote orientation and training schedule.
  • Must be comfortable with technology, multiple remote applications, and typing.
  • Must be able to handle stress, multitask, and manage high call volumes.
  • Must maintain required CEUs, attend additional training as needed, and pass background and nurse licensing checks.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
  • Must be able to work with a high-speed internet connection compatible with fiberoptic or coaxial cable and use a wired modem connection.
  • Must maintain an active home state license and remain in good standing.
  • Must be able to provide a quiet, HIPAA-compliant home office or workspace.
