Description

  • Proactively identify and target franchise business owners to expand program adoption across strategic franchisor partners.
  • Lead prospecting, outreach, engagement, and enlistment efforts for franchisees whose parent companies offer InStride programs.
  • Plan territories and execute sales opportunities to meet or exceed quota and revenue targets.
  • Partner with Corporate Partner Success and Engagement Managers to align on acquisition goals and strategy.
  • Use warm and cold outreach, promotional campaigns, incentives, and PR to schedule meetings with prospects.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations tailored to each prospect’s needs.
  • Communicate terms and pricing, negotiate opportunities, and close contracts successfully.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, pipeline forecasts, and activity tracking in Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
  • Stay current on industry trends, competing offerings, and market conditions to inform sales execution.
  • Gather customer feedback and relay insights to internal teams to help refine the offering.
  • Travel as needed, up to 30% of the year, and represent the company at industry events and conferences.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in business-to-business sales for software, educational services, franchise benefits, or related solutions.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively virtually and in person.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decisions and strategy.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to align business objectives with sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • High emotional intelligence and strong client presence, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, especially small and medium business owners.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and operate with a startup-style, “no job too small” mentality.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce.
  • Located in one of the eligible states: AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, LA, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, NH, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OR, PA, TX, VA, WA, or WI.
  • Preferred: passion for professional growth, continuous learning, and staying current with industry best practices.
