Description

  • Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models for real-time inventory and shelf-stocking insights across thousands of retail locations.
  • Own the full machine learning lifecycle, including problem framing, data exploration, training, evaluation, and production deployment.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, computer vision engineers, data scientists, and product leads on new product capabilities.
  • Contribute to infrastructure that ingests retail-partner data and collects inventory observations for modeling pipelines.
  • Help define the technical direction of the team’s expanding machine learning practice.
  • Deliver reliable, high-quality systems that produce measurable business impact in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience developing and deploying machine learning models in production.
  • Strong Python proficiency and experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
  • Experience building large-scale data pipelines with structured and unstructured data.
  • Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and machine learning platform tools for training, versioning, and serving.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, machine learning, statistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with computer vision, inventory forecasting, demand sensing, or spatial and temporal modeling preferred.
  • Familiarity with low-latency, high-throughput real-time inference systems preferred.
  • Experience independently driving projects from conception through production in cross-functional environments preferred.
  • Exposure to retail, supply chain, or e-commerce domains preferred.
  • Experience incorporating vision-based signals into broader machine learning systems preferred.

Benefits

  • Remote Flex First work environment with flexibility to work from home, an office, or another preferred location.
  • Base salary of $201,000–$253,500 USD depending on location.
  • New-hire equity grant and annual refresh grants.
