Description

  • Set and own the product roadmap, including vision, milestones, and launch plans for Cart Assistant.
  • Lead product discovery to identify customer pain points, market opportunities, and solution priorities.
  • Partner with engineering and design to translate consumer and retailer needs into product direction and delivery.
  • Define and track metrics, dashboards, and business reviews to measure adoption, engagement, and impact.
  • Lead cross-functional execution with engineering, machine learning, data science, and design to ship iterative improvements and run experiments.
  • Partner with ML, model design, and content design teams to improve agent performance and behavior.
  • Represent the product to senior leadership and external retail partners, communicating strategy, progress, and risks.
  • Work with business development, market strategy, and GTM teams to align product launches with go-to-market plans.
  • Scale Cart Assistant across Instacart surfaces and products to drive business impact for Instacart and retail partners.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of product management experience.
  • 5+ years building and shipping consumer-facing commerce products end-to-end.
  • 2+ years building LLM-powered products in production.
  • Proven track record launching at least one 0-to-1 product to general availability with measurable impact on adoption, conversion, revenue, or GTV.
  • Technical fluency with AI/ML systems and data flows.
  • Experience defining product OKRs and using experimentation to improve outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with senior leadership and external enterprise partners.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical, quantitative, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience across both consumer products and B2B/enterprise offerings (preferred).
  • Background spanning startup and large company environments (preferred).
  • Domain expertise in ecommerce, retail, grocery, or marketplace dynamics (preferred).
  • Experience building or improving LLM agent systems and products (preferred).
  • Familiarity with experimentation at scale, including A/B testing, and with trust, safety, privacy, and compliance considerations for GenAI products (preferred).

  • Base salary range for US candidates: $209,000-$264,000 depending on location.
