Description

  • Engage directly with in-store customers to introduce them to Caper smart carts and perform live demonstrations.
  • Develop and execute sales tactics tailored to each store environment.
  • Adapt outreach approaches based on customer feedback and observed success rates.
  • Build positive relationships with store personnel to support smooth operations.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador for Instacart and Caper in retail locations.
  • Provide regular reporting on customer interactions and share insights to improve engagement and sales techniques.
  • Work toward daily and weekly user acquisition goals.
  • Support the scaling of in-store technology and fulfillment solutions across retail partners.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in direct sales, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to achieving goals.
  • Comfortable working with and explaining new technology.
  • Availability to work a Thursday through Monday schedule, including weekends.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, up to 90% of the time.
  • Strong critical thinking abilities to identify and leverage sales opportunities (preferred).
  • Familiarity with grocery retail operations and customer behavior (preferred).
  • Experience promoting technological products or innovations in a retail setting (preferred).
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and work independently (preferred).
  • Preferred candidates are within driving distance of Bel Air, Maryland.

Benefits

  • Hourly rate of $34.
