Description

  • Guide BS/MD and direct medical applicants on school selection, application strategy, essays, resumes, recommendations, timelines, and interviews
  • Help students strengthen academic and extracurricular profiles and create compelling application materials
  • Research and evaluate best-fit BS/MD, pre-med, and undergraduate programs aligned with students’ goals
  • Provide feedback on personal statements, supplemental essays, and interview preparation while preserving each student’s authentic voice
  • Manage project plans, application timelines, and student progress using internal organizational tools
  • Stay current on BS/MD, direct medical, pre-med, and undergraduate admissions trends to provide strategic guidance

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree
  • Prior undergraduate or medical school admissions committee experience
  • Experience mentoring high school students in academic advising or college application support
  • Familiarity with BS/MD, direct medical, and pre-med admissions processes, including school selection, application strategy, and interview preparation
  • Proven success guiding students through competitive undergraduate admissions
  • Strong organizational and project-management skills to manage multiple students and timelines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work remotely as a 1099 contractor from the United States or Canada
