Description

  • Serve as interim Registrar and provide day-to-day leadership for registration department staff.
  • Provide oversight, direction, guidance, and coordination for current registration projects and priorities.
  • Assess the efficiency of registrar department operations and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Consult with higher education clients on student services and registration-related challenges.
  • Design and deliver training for end users and client teams.
  • Help clients align policy, process, procedures, and staffing to better leverage registration solutions.
  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to evaluate current processes and develop future-state solutions.
  • Support clients in optimizing registration ERP functionality and related operational workflows.
  • Train new users and help ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a college or university Registrar.
  • Experience with a higher education ERP system such as Ellucian Colleague, Banner, Jenzabar, or Workday.
  • Hands-on experience with registration functionality and the ability to train end users.
  • Experience assessing registrar operations and recommending process improvements.
  • Experience recommending policy changes, staffing changes, and organizational alignment changes when appropriate.
  • Strong leadership skills, including facilitating diverse groups and building consensus.
  • Ability to prepare organizations and individuals for change and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills and a consultative approach with clients.
  • Experience with other ERP solutions or additional higher education functional areas is a plus.
  • Ability to work in full-time or part-time 1099 consulting arrangements is preferred.
