Description

  • Perform penetration tests across web applications, mobile applications, APIs, internal systems, and source code.
  • Conduct threat analysis, social-engineering assessments, and white-, gray-, and black-box security evaluations.
  • Support blue teams and business-unit developers with vulnerability mitigation guidance throughout the SDLC.
  • Research emerging attack vectors, vulnerabilities, cybersecurity trends, and testing tools.
  • Train Quality Assurance and Development teams in security testing and secure software development practices.
  • Review application source code using static application security testing tools.
  • Create detailed reports documenting vulnerabilities, risks, mitigation strategies, and remediation steps.
  • Develop security-testing automation scripts and manage multiple projects concurrently.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in web application security.
  • Hands-on experience testing web applications, web services, mobile applications, and APIs.
  • Experience securing REST APIs and web services.
  • Experience with SAST/DAST tools such as Fortify, Veracode, or Checkmarx.
  • Proficiency with commercial and open-source penetration-testing tools and OWASP/SANS vulnerabilities and remediation practices.
  • Experience implementing secure coding methodologies within engineering teams.
  • Strong English written and verbal communication, analytical skills, critical thinking, and teamwork.
  • Programming experience with Python, JavaScript, or PHP is preferred.
  • Scripting and application-security testing automation experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of AWS and cloud security concepts is preferred.
  • Certifications such as eWAPTx, OSCP, or OSWE are preferred.
