Description

  • Use AI-powered development tools throughout the engineering workflow to design, implement, test, debug, document, review, and ship software.
  • Design, implement, and maintain APIs, services, and backend systems with a focus on scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Experiment with emerging AI development approaches and help the team adopt practical engineering workflows.
  • Identify and solve complex technical challenges creatively and effectively.
  • Foster a team culture of collaboration, high performance, continuous learning, and responsible experimentation.
  • Guide and support team members in improving technical skills and modern engineering practices.
  • Monitor and optimize key system and product performance metrics.
  • Work closely with other departments in agile teams to deliver products and features.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience designing highly scalable and highly available systems, most of it in Go.
  • Practical experience with AI-powered developer tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, OpenAI Codex, Cursor, or similar.
  • Ability to use AI tools across design, implementation, testing, debugging, refactoring, documentation, and code review.
  • Strong engineering practices with attention to quality, testing, observability, and documentation.
  • Comfort working in ambiguous, fast-moving technical areas where best practices are still evolving.
  • Good communication skills and fluency in English.
  • Experience with agentic AI development patterns such as tool/function calling, RAG, multi-step workflows, human-in-the-loop systems, agents, skills, hooks, or plugins is preferred.
  • Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, Agent SDKs, or AI orchestration frameworks such as Strands Agents, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar is preferred.
  • Experience evaluating emerging AI developer tools and translating useful practices into team-wide engineering standards is preferred.
  • Previous mobile experience is a bonus.
