Description

  • Draft, review, and amend contracts and other legal documents under Legal Team supervision.
  • Organize and maintain legal templates and help develop and manage playbooks.
  • Draft corporate documents and support corporate housekeeping for Midnight’s entities, including formations, maintenance, and ongoing management.
  • Ensure corporate filings are completed accurately and on time.
  • Maintain contract files and records in contract and document management systems and coordinate with internal stakeholders and third parties as needed.
  • Manage KYC and KYB processes and update the Legal Team’s task management systems.
  • Assist with due diligence by reviewing corporate records and contracts, summarizing findings, and preparing reports.
  • Track deadlines and key milestones for projects and provide timely updates to relevant parties.
  • Conduct legal research and provide litigation support.
  • Take meeting minutes and provide regular status updates on contracts, projects, and other legal matters.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 2-3+ years of paralegal or legal secretary experience, preferably in an in-house or law firm environment.
  • Strong organizational and process-oriented skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to own and execute projects.
  • Experience developing and implementing forms, processes, and policies.
  • Proficiency with business tools such as Google Suite, Microsoft Office, DocuSign, Notion, ClickUp, document management systems, contract management systems, and legal enterprise software is desired but not all essential.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with proactive responsiveness.
  • Ability to handle highly sensitive information with discretion.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple deadlines, and work with limited supervision.
  • Comfort working independently, collaboratively, and across multiple time zones.
  • Willingness to support ad hoc projects as business needs arise.
