Description

  • Design and implement billing solutions using the Netcracker Revenue Management (RBM) platform.
  • Work with business stakeholders to understand billing requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Configure billing modules and related RBM billing components to support required business processes.
  • Provide billing design and solution input to the squad team for business requirement discussions and solution alignment.
  • Review end-to-end solution design documents and agree on technical design with engineering teams.
  • Produce billing high-level designs (HLDs) for agreed solutions and communicate them to business and technical stakeholders.
  • Review and hand over designs to development and testing teams.
  • Own the design throughout the full software development life cycle.
  • Support the L3 team with issues related to design.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Netcracker RBM billing product configuration.
  • Experience with rating catalog configuration and billing catalog configuration.
  • Knowledge of billing processes including rating, billing, discounts, dunning, high toll, and financial processes.
  • Strong understanding of core RBM capabilities and customized billing solutions.
  • Experience integrating RBM billing systems with BSS applications such as CRM, middleware, and mediation.
  • Must have worked in a Billing Architect or Billing Designer role.
  • Good end-to-end functional knowledge of Telecom BSS.
  • Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle, Java, Unix, Shell Script, or Perl is preferred.
  • Experience with multiple telecom billing systems is preferred.
