Description

  • Monitor AI industry trends, emerging technologies, and market dynamics.
  • Conduct market sizing analyses including TAM, SAM, and SOM, along with growth assessments.
  • Research emerging customer use cases across Innodata’s six practice areas.
  • Identify new vertical and geographic expansion opportunities.
  • Track competitor launches, pricing, messaging, partnerships, acquisitions, and funding activity.
  • Develop and maintain competitive battle cards and a centralized intelligence repository.
  • Deliver competitive briefings and executive-ready reports to Sales, Product Marketing, Marketing, and Executive Leadership.
  • Monitor buying signals such as funding, executive hires, acquisitions, AI initiatives, partnerships, and technology adoption.
  • Partner with Sales and SDR teams to prioritize target accounts based on intent and buying signals.
  • Conduct customer trend and win/loss analysis to refine buyer personas, ICPs, and market segmentation.
  • Design and improve AI-driven workflows to automate competitive monitoring, research, alerts, and buying-signal detection.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in market intelligence, competitive intelligence, product marketing, strategy consulting, market research, or a related analytical role.
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience synthesizing complex technical and market information into concise executive recommendations.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Experience in one or more of the following: Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Enterprise Software, SaaS, Cloud Computing, Data Platforms, or Developer Tools (preferred).
  • Experience using research platforms such as Crunchbase, CB Insights, PitchBook, Gartner, IDC, Forrester, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Similarweb, SEMrush, ZoomInfo, or 6sense (preferred).
  • Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, NotebookLM, or similar AI research platforms (preferred).
  • Naturally curious, strategic, analytical, organized, proactive, and self-directed.
  • Comfort working with executives and collaborating across Marketing, Product, Sales, and Leadership.
