Description

  • Develop and own the strategy for generative engine optimization and traditional organic search.
  • Improve Influ2’s visibility across ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, and Copilot.
  • Create and monitor representative prompt sets to track brand mentions, descriptions, citations, sources, and competitors.
  • Identify content gaps and guide content and product marketing teams on cite-worthy content, including definitions, comparisons, FAQs, original data, and customer evidence.
  • Build Influ2’s authority across publications, analysts, partners, review sites, comparison content, and communities.
  • Audit and correct inaccurate descriptions of Influ2 and its category across relevant web sources.
  • Manage technical discoverability, including crawlability, indexation, site architecture, internal linking, rendering, Core Web Vitals, and structured data.
  • Ensure search and AI crawlers can access priority content while managing model-training permissions separately.
  • Track organic rankings, impressions, clicks, traffic, conversions, AI share of voice, referral traffic, and pipeline.
  • Run experiments, establish baselines, evaluate attribution limits, and scale tactics supported by evidence.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of SEO experience, including at least one year focused on AI search visibility.
  • Demonstrable GEO results, including the ability to explain baselines, tracked prompts and platforms, changes made, outcomes, and limitations.
  • Strong technical SEO expertise in structured data, crawl and rendering behavior, log-file analysis, site migrations, and Core Web Vitals.
  • Fluency with Ahrefs or Semrush, Google Search Console, GA4, and Screaming Frog.
  • Experience with at least one AI visibility platform, such as AthenaHQ, Brand Radar, Profound, Peec AI, or Otterly.
  • Digital PR and outreach experience with a track record of earning relevant mentions, reviews, and coverage.
  • Strong understanding of positioning and category development, with the ability to connect unfamiliar concepts to buyer language.
  • Sound analytical judgment and ability to make decisions with incomplete evidence.
  • Ability to work independently, set priorities, and follow initiatives through to completion.
  • B2B SaaS experience, plus Looker and SQL skills, are preferred.
