Description

  • Lead the web scraping development team and act as the technical leader for the platform.
  • Drive architecture design for the data plane, including high-parallel crawling, session management, anti-bot bypass, and CAPTCHA solving.
  • Design the control plane, including the API, authorization, billing, quotas, and monitoring.
  • Own the platform infrastructure, including microservices, Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD, and observability.
  • Participate in hiring backend, browser, DevOps, and QA engineers.
  • Establish development and release processes for the team.
  • Maintain code quality standards and oversee technical decisions.
  • Research and implement browser- and network-level fingerprinting techniques for anti-bot bypass.
  • Work on bypassing protection systems such as Cloudflare, Akamai, Qrator, ServicePipe, Variti, and similar defenses.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of engineering experience in high-load backend or data platform development.
  • Extensive web scraping experience is mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of HTTP, TLS, HTTP/2, proxies, and browser stack technologies including CDP and WebRTC.
  • Experience with async Python and Go, ideally both.
  • Experience with Redis, queues, and message brokers.
  • Experience analyzing and bypassing bot protection systems is a strong plus.
  • Fluent English, as documentation and part of the team are English-speaking.
  • Strong decision-making, mentoring, and accountability for results.
  • Experience with browser and network-level fingerprinting techniques is preferred.
