Description

  • Develop, own, and continuously refine account plans with the Sales Director.
  • Build relationships with account decision-makers and influencers at electrical contractors, end users, and distributors.
  • Identify revenue opportunities and understand customer buying processes, requirements, challenges, and priorities.
  • Develop and present proposals and complete bid packages for MV/LV switchgear, switchboards, panelboards, and complementary non-IEM products.
  • Manage customer engagement throughout the sales cycle and respond commercially at each stage of the buying journey.
  • Coordinate the handoff of awarded work to the Platform Execution team.
  • Maintain oversight of commercial engagements to support customer satisfaction and vendor performance.
  • Communicate customer-specific insights to internal stakeholders and advocate for account needs within IEM.
  • Maintain sales forecasts and provide information to the Sales Director for capacity planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5–10 years of experience selling power distribution equipment, including MV/LV switchgear and switchboards.
  • Proven success negotiating medium and large project orders and managing relationships with major contractors throughout the sales cycle.
  • Experience developing accurate project proposals that combine MV/LV switchgear and non-IEM products into complete bid packages.
  • Established relationships and market credibility with Houston-area electrical contractors, end users, or electrical distributors.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-development skills.
  • Self-motivated with a high level of professionalism.
  • Data center market experience (preferred).
  • Experience using Salesforce (preferred).

  • Annual salary range of $140,000–$150,000.
